Job Summary:
The Treasury Management Assistant will collaborate closely with the Treasury Management Officer. This position requires the Treasury Management Assistant to have a thorough understanding of the bank’s treasury management services and products, including all types of business accounts. The Treasury Management Assistant will be responsible for excellent customer service via personal interaction, email and phone. It is also their responsibility to provide administrative and clerical support to the team.
This position is not a remote position, nor does it have the option of being a hybrid position.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday and Saturdays as scheduled.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ø Provide commercial customer deposit services support, regarding new account set-up, new services activation and account maintenance.
Ø Maintain a thorough understanding of Treasury Management products.
Ø Support the team with special project requests.
Ø Perform necessary computer system maintenance with regard to TM products.
Ø ACH risk reviews and documentation preparation.
Ø Assist customers with general questions regarding all facets of Treasury Management products and services.
Ø Identify cross-selling and referral opportunities to broaden customer banking relationships.
Ø Proficient in auditing and compliance procedures.
Ø Occasional on-site customer visits.
Ø Observe suspicious behavior. In the event of a robbery, remain calm; follow bank procedures to safeguard customers and staff.
Ø Participate in community activities to enhance public awareness of the bank.
Ø Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ø Strong Organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
Ø Detail oriented.
Ø Ability to work independently to complete projects meeting quality and timeliness expectations.
Ø Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management.
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Docusign.
Ø Enthusiastic, positive, effective under pressure, flexible, self-starter and has the drive to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Ø Is able to make quick and timely decisions.
Ø Represent and promote the bank and its various banking products.
Education and Experience:
Sufficient education, training, and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities, which would typically be acquired through:
Ø High school diploma or an Associate degree with 2 – 4 years of experience in banking or financial services.
Physical Requirements:
- Ø Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other Federal, State, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ø Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other Federal, State and Local standards.
- Ø Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ø Must be able to talk, listen, sit, stand, walk, and speak clearly on telephone.
