Individuals in this position must:
Participate in the safety engagement process. This includes giving I Care huddles, conducting area assessments, and addressing all safety concerns with the Production Team Lead.
Works in a safe and efficient manner, communicating all unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to lead or operators immediately.
Be actively engaged in safety, participate in safety programs, safety activities, perform risk assessments and demonstrate ownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members. Must report all incidents, near misses, and any safety concerns.
Must provide foreign material inspection of all finished product prior to the packaging function. Removal of foreign material as well as the timely notification of quality assurance will be required.
Must provide inspection and removal of product possessing undesirable quality attributes. These attributes may include, but are not limited to, defects, batter defects, misshapen units, clusters, batter balls, etc.
Responsible for several sanitation functions with the work area and must be able to assist with sanitation clean-ups when the line is down.
Be available and willing to assist in the recase/rework of product as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
Other duties may be assigned.

Sanitation qualified required.
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Will regularly work near moving mechanical parts.
Will frequently be exposed to moderately cold surroundings.
Will occasionally be exposed to humid conditions as well as moderate heat.
May be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Must be able to work beside moving conveyor belts without getting motion sickness.
Will regularly work around forklift traffic.
Will frequently be exposed to dust & batter allergies.
