Key Responsibilities:
·Engage in promoting or creating an intended public image for the
Office of Force Resiliency (OFR) Front Office and Office of Drug Demand
Reduction (ODDR).
·Write or select material for release to various communication
methods.
·Develop, for government approval, products, documents, and
displays (e.g., strategic analysis documents, new announcements and rollouts of
reports, survey and summary reports, data visualizations, policy and program
evaluation reports and findings, and review and analysis reports).
·Deliver this specialized support in view of the evolving needs and
direction of the DoD mission and priorities, including written products,
support for conferences and events, and strategic initiatives.
·Anticipate and report on changing external demand signals --
including monitoring and analysis of White House, DoD, and Congressional
strategic priorities – and develop recommendations to ensure priorities are
considered in the development of future policies.
·Provide messaging, including responses to Congressional inquiries,
and advise on how to socialize and communicate information with key
stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
·Master's Degree in Communications or similar field with 10 or more
years of experience.
·Experience working in a DoD environment.
·Experience with DoD force resiliency and drug demand reduction
policies.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Strong organizational and time management skills.
·US Citizenship and possess an active US Government Secret
Clearance with ability to maintain the security clearance.
·Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
