The Business Operations Support role reports to the Business Operations Manager. This role is responsible for order management including direct-to-consumer, dropship, and retail bulk, as well as generating work orders for the Value-Added Services department. This position coordinates closely with the Fulfillment, Value-Added Services, Receiving and Client Success departments, including assisting in the setting up of new clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage a demanding workload with changing priorities to ensure that orders, work orders, and in/out data flows to the appropriate departments and then out to external sources that need them. All this work is time sensitive and requires extreme levels of accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with processes and quality to ensure the departments are able to achieve or exceed their timelines.
• Manage an ever-changing workload and priorities to ensure that all orders are shipped the same day by the cutoff time.
• Assist in monitoring and intervention of system processes that group and release orders to ensure efficiency is maximized in Operations.
• Assist in management of all client external retail portals, such as Amazon, to ensure all systems are updated with accurate information in a timely manner
• Support the Client Success team with entering and releasing work orders for Value-Add Services.
• Maintain the inbound/outbound traffic logs for all facilities.
• Adherence to Service Level Agreements
• Prevent distribution center chargebacks
• Ensure compliance with EDI transactions
• Support all new customer setups
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Assist manager/supervisor in ensuring daily tasks are completed
• Communicate needs and issues that arise in the department to management in a timely manner
• Lead by example by working hard and having positive interactions with other departments
• Communicate and uphold all company and department policies and procedures
