SENIOR PROPOSAL LEAD
Concurrent Technologies Corporation
Johnstown, PA (preferred) / National Capital

Works collaboratively across Company Divisions to support proposal
and business development activity in support of winning new business and
achieving Company growth goals. Responsible for administrating, planning,
organizing, and directing proposal activities under the direction of the Senior
Director, Contract and Acquisition Services. Supports the Company’s proposal
and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
·Provides guidance, leadership,
and administrative assistance for section content of the proposal, as required.
oSets up, tailors and administers the proposal SharePoint site(s).
oSchedules and records assignments and tasks at daily proposal
conference calls.
oSchedules and coordinates color team reviews, workshops and
training sessions.
oModifies the formatting of proposal documents.
oCoordinates the proposal production schedule with reprographics.
oCreates standard content, resumes and/or other existing proposal
content to volume leads and/or writers, as necessary.
oResponsible for mailing/shipping/tracking final proposal
documents.
·Leads, administers, plans,
organizes, and directs proposal activities under the direction of the Proposal
Manager, Senior Director, Contract and Acquisition Services, and Senior
Executive Leadership Team (SELT).
·Requests and manages B&P
funding.
oEstablishes, monitors, and closes CostPoint accounts.
oAnalyzes information and the process to provide recommendations to
the proposal team and Senior Executive Leadership Team to streamline and
improve the B&P process.
oDevelops informational reports for auditing purposes on B&P
spending.
o Analyzes audit reports to provide guidance to proposal team
members.
· Develops and modifies
writing templates according to the RFP analysis in order to ensure compliance.
·Manages proposal response
documents by interacting with volume leads, writers/editors and appropriate
outside team members.
·Develops and manages the
schedules for the proposal effort as determined by information in the RFP;
amendments, questions/answers; and Color Team Reviews that are dependent on the
schedule of SELT members needed to review/approve the proposal documents.
·Pre-populates, manages, and
distributes the proposal content plans and templates in consultation with the
Proposal Manager; making sure that relevant win theme will be represented in
the appropriate sections/volumes of the proposal documents.
·Oversees the proposal
production process to include final proposal document quality inspections and
White Glove Review.
·Determines the standard content
to be used in proposal efforts; modifies standard content to the RFP including
resumes and/or other existing proposal content and distribute the material to
volume leads and/or writers.
·Consults with writers and
Proposal Manager to interpret the RFP and provide advice and guidance on
formatting templates and to ensure compliance with the win themes in the
Proposal.
Basic Qualifications:
·MA/MS in Business, the Social
Sciences, the Liberal Arts, or related academic field plus 4-6 years directly
related experience or
·BA/BS in Business, the Social
Sciences, the Liberal Arts, or related academic field plus 6-8 years directly
related experience.
Preferred Qualifications and
Skills:
·Demonstrated DoD experience in
government contracts and leading proposal development initiatives.
·General knowledge of the
federal procurement process and regulations.
·Ability to work under tight
deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
·Proficiency with MS Office
Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), MS Teams, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat
Pro and; as well as experience with Excel and Project.
·Command of English grammar,
spelling, and composition and the ability to edit documents.
