Key Responsibilities:
Assist Principal EHS with day-to-day safety requirements plus
special projects as developed. Possible projects include:
·SDS Database Management
·Lockout-Tagout assessments and
modifications
·Machine Guarding Evaluation
·Hazard Communication Evaluation
and Improvement
·Written Safety Program
Evaluation and Revisions to meet ISO 45001 requirements.
·Industrial Hygiene Assessments
Basic Qualifications:
·Currently enrolled in a
bachelor’s degree program in Safety Science or a related field.
·Completion of Junior year
(enrolled as a Senior).
Preferred Qualifications:
·Good oral and written
communication skills.
·Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills.
·Effective time-management and
organizational skills.
·Team player with a strong
desire to learn.
·Self-motivated with the ability
to work independently.
