With a steady growth in business, we are currently hiring for the following position: Quality Supervisor.
General Function:
Reporting to the Engineering Vice President, the Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring manufactured products meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance set by Chance Rides, LLC and customer specifications. The Quality Supervisor typically performs the duties listed below but is not necessarily limited to them.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high energy leadership of, and mentorship for, quality team members while building a collaborative relationship with other departments
- Oversee the daily execution of the quality management system
- Manage and maintain required documentation for quality records
- Audit and assist training shop personnel and vendors ensuring work is performed and documented to requirements
- Oversee the inspection of incoming vendor components and internally manufactured parts
- Disposition rejected parts (NCMR) and document corrective action (CAR) in ERP system
- Review and approve Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for finished rides
- Follow industry and government regulations concerning amusement ride manufacturing
- Work with state inspectors and ride safety officials to maintain required documentation of Chance built amusement rides
- Track key quality performance metrics and processes
- Promote continuous improvement and implement productivity projects, offsetting inflationary pressures
- Annual performance reviews for the quality department
