Job Description

Participate in the integration, alignment, and testing activities for bring-up of optical instruments and sub-systems; develop fixtures and test setups for assessing stability of electro-optical components; design and use software tools for laser beam tracking; prepare documentation to enable transfer of processes to manufacturing; conduct tests, collect data, and record observations to assist with troubleshooting and optimization activities; conduct engineering tests to demonstrate design feasibility.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Optical Science and Engineering or Engineering Physics; coursework in electrodynamics, and photonics and lasers; 3 months experience in job offered or as an Intern in optics; experience in developing software tools for laser beam tracking.
