Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role that will oversee the day-to-day operations of our company, ensuring smooth business operations, optimizing processes, and helping our teams deliver exceptional service to our clients. As the Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in streamlining operations, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all internal processes are efficient and effective. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure smooth workflows, effective project management, and that all team members are aligned with company objectives.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, support, and mentor a team of operations professionals. Provide training, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership to align operational strategies with business goals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between departments.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), produce reports, and provide data-driven insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Client & Program Oversight: Ensure that all client projects and internal programs meet service-level agreements, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards. Provide support to project managers and staff to ensure successful delivery.

Job Requirements
*Leadership Experience:
Experience in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in operations, program management, or related fields. Military leadership experience is highly valued, and veterans with strong leadership backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

*Operational Expertise:
Strong background in overseeing day-to-day operations, improving efficiencies, and managing teams. Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus, but not required.

*Strong Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to communicate clearly with team members, senior leadership, stakeholders, and external partners. Ability to create reports, deliver presentations, and provide feedback effectively.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
Ability to analyze complex situations, identify challenges, and develop practical solutions to improve operations. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to make tough calls when necessary.

*Project Management Experience:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus.

*Flexibility and Adaptability:
Experience working in remote, hybrid, or flexible work environments. Ability to manage teams and operations across different work settings, and adapt to changes in organizational needs or priorities.

*Commitment to Mission-Driven Work:
A strong desire to work in an organization focused on supporting children and families. Experience in or a passion for community service or nonprofit work is desirable.

*Veteran-Friendly:
Previous military service is encouraged, though not required. Veterans with experience in operations, logistics, and team leadership are strongly encouraged to apply. Military experience in roles such as logistics officer, operations specialist, or other managerial positions is highly relevant.

*Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

*Technology Proficiency:
Familiarity with remote work tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams), project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Monday.com), and general office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
