Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position: The Maintenance Technician IV is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of production and facility equipment, ensuring continuous operation within a high-precision manufacturing environment. They execute preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and support new equipment installations, all while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards to maintain equipment reliability and optimize production efficiency.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
  • Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and programming issues in production equipment, including CNC machinery.
  • Installation & Setup: Assist in the installation and qualification of new equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately record maintenance activities in the CMMS system and provide detailed reports on work progress and issues to the Facilities Manager.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards, ensuring that work areas and equipment are free from hazards, and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Support: Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, and navigate CNC programming for troubleshooting and setup.

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 depending on experience

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma required; College or Technical Training in CNC Fundamentals, CNC Maintenance, CNC Controls, PLC Logic and Troubleshooting, or Electrical Maintenance and Troubleshooting preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on CNC milling and lathe equipment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in time management, communication (both written and verbal), attention to detail, and a strong action-oriented approach.
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiency in relevant software applications, including CMMS systems.
