CTC Engineering Division specializes in transforming cutting-edge technologies

CTC
is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control/Warehousing Specialist to join
the engineering department. The selected candidate will be responsible for
managing inventory levels, overseeing warehouse operations, and ensuring
efficient storage and distribution of materials. This role is critical to
maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain and supporting our
production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
·Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels to
prevent shortages or overages.
·Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of
materials.
·Conduct regular audits of inventory to reconcile discrepancies and
ensure accuracy.
·Organize and maintain the warehouse to facilitate efficient
material handling and storage.
·Monitor and report on inventory turnover rates, aging stock, and
obsolete items.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory
needs and plan replenishment.
·Implement best practices for warehouse safety, organization, and
cleanliness.
·Develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to
ensure compliance and efficiency.
·Utilize inventory management software to track and manage
inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
·Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of
materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
·Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting
key metrics and areas for improvement.
·Train and supervise warehouse staff on inventory control
procedures and safety protocols.
·Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance
inventory management processes and reduce costs.
Basic Qualifications:
·Minimum high school diploma or GED.
·Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
·Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under
pressure.
·Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
·Promotes a safety-first mindset throughout the work environment.
·Builds strong relationships across departments.
·Experience with inventory management software and warehouse
management systems is a plus.
·Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous
improvement methodologies is preferred.
Physical and Mental Demands:
·Regularly or frequently sitting, talking, hearing, grasping,
touching, walking, reaching with hands/arms and performing repetitive wrist,
hand and/or finger movements.
·Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force. May be
required to lift up to 50 pounds.
·Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less to type documents, read and
use a computer.
·Concentrated attention to proofread documents, create
spreadsheets, etc. and application of principles of logical thinking and
reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions.
·Apply reasoning to solve practical problems and to interpret
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
Work Environment:
·Moderate noise level (i.e. computers, printers, etc.). May
experience moderate to loud noise level if an assignment is conducted in High
Bay area.
·Indoor temperature-controlled office environment.
·May be safety sensitive if required to work an assignment in the
High Bay area where PPE is required.
